Andrew Liverpool (born April 9, 1990) is a Guyanese - Born, Lawyer/Philanthropist/Poet/ Trained Actor. He is also a graduate of the University of Guyana (2012) where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws and the University of Fiji (2015) where he obtained his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2015[1]

Early life

As a young boy coming from a small community on the outskirts namely Mocha Arcadia of the East Bank of Demerara in Greater Georgetown, Andrew always saw the value of education and the role it can play in the transformation of one's life. A former student of the Headstart Nursery School, Winfer Gardens Primary School, North Ruimveldt Multilateral School, the St Joseph's High School and the President's College had molded him to view life in a way that would see him making a mark later on in history[2].

Theatre life

In 2008 after completing 6th Form at the President's College Guyana, Liverpool found himself involved in the Arts more specifically involved in various poetry competitions such as Dynamic Poetry Competition where he placed third place in 2009 and later joining the Guyana Theatre Guild where he met fellow thespians and was featured in many plays and later in Guyana's Number One Satirical Show namely the Link Show in 2009 - 2011[3].

University life

The Year of 2009 saw the beginning of an exciting journey where Liverpool began to read for his L.L.B or Bachelor of Laws. University life was quite exciting and challenging. Liverpool was in 2012 nominated to run for the University of Guyana's Law Society President where he placed as the Runner Up to Timothy Millington. In 2012 Mr. Liverpool graduated with his Law Degree and took a break from pursuing law school due to Financial reasons.

Fiji

In 2014 Mr. Liverpool was admitted to the University of Fiji Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice program that saw him travelling to the tiny pacific island in 2015. In July of the same year, after completing his post graduate diploma he sought admissions to the Bar of Fiji.

Admissions to the bar of fiji

On the 21 July 2015, Mr. Liverpool was admitted to the Bar of Fiji along with Fellow Guyanese Ms. Shinella Ghent. This admission was presided by the former Chief Justice of Fiji Mr. Anthony Gates and he was introduced to the bar by Mr. Siddhart Nandan. Mr. Liverpool's admission to the Bar saw him becoming the First from his community namely Mocha Arcadia, to be admitted to a bar and later on being the First Guyanese and South American to practice law in Fiji and a South Pacific nation.
