Eduard Isaakovich Dolinsky (born August 8, 1969, Lutsk, Soviet Union) is a director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee and member of European Jewish Parliament.[1]

Biography

Was born in the city of Lutsk. Father — Isaac Pavlovich Dolinsky, director of the Jewish community of Lutsk.[2] Graduated from {Lutsk basic medical college in 1988. From 1988 to 1990 he served in the Soviet Army, on the territory of Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. In 2003 he was elected chairman of the Jewish community of Lutsk. In 2015, by decree of the President of Ukraine, he was included in the preparation of events related to the 75th anniversary of the tragedy in Babi Yar.[3] He also manages the organizations:

  • International Public Organization "Ukrainian Jewish Committee";
  • Public organization "Museum of the History of the Jews of Ukraine";
  • Public Union "Interfaith Union".

Heads the international organization "Ukrainian Jewish Committee". As part of the work of the committee, seminars, round tables and meetings are held.[4] The information and analytical magazine “U-Jew!” is published. On his Twitter and Facebook pages he publishes historical facts, cases of anti-Semitic statements, photographs and videos related to the manifestation of hatred of the Jewish people.

Personal life and family

Married to Ukraine Oksana Evgenievna Dolinskaya (Solopa), in the specialty she is a construction engineer. She was born in Irkutsk, a native of the Russian Federation, a graduate of the National university of water resources and environmental management. Engaged in research work and films about Lutsk; she released three of those. State Committee for Television and Radio-broadcasting (Ukraine) for Television and Radio-broadcasting requested them to translate them into ukrainian language, as due to "quotas" they cannot be aired in russian language. They have a son, Mark Eduardovich Dolinsky, who works and lives in Israel. He graduated from Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
