Ermal Krasniqi (born 7 September 1998) is a Kosovan professional association footballer who plays as a left winger for Football Superleague of Kosovo club FC Ballkani and the Kosovo national football team.
Club career
Early career
Krasniqi started his career in 2016 as an 18-year-old with FC Feronikeli 74,[1] where after a year he was transferred to the team of his hometown KF Malisheva,[1] with whom he managed to take third place in the Second Football League of Kosovo,[2] after good performances with Malisheva in the summer in 2018 he was transferred to the Football Superleague of Kosovo side KF Llapi,[3] but due to the lack of minutes he was forced to transfer to the another Kosovo Superleague side FC Ferizaj in January 2019,[4] where he managed to play in ten games and score six goals, helping the team to stay in the middle of the table.[5]
Ballkani
On 7 August 2019, Krasniqi signed a two-year contract with Football Superleague of Kosovo club FC Ballkani.[6]
International career
Under-21
On 29 August 2020, Krasniqi received a call-up from Kosovo national under-21 football team for the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification Group 3 match against England national under-21 football team,[7] and made his debut after coming on as a 57th minute substitute in place of Valmir Veliu.[8]
Senior
On 11 November 2022, Krasniqi received a call-up from Kosovo national football team for the Exhibition friendly matches against Armenia national football team and Faroe Islands national football team.[9] His debut with Kosovo came eight days later in a friendly match against Faroe Islands after being named in the starting line-up.[10]
