With a strong focus on the mortgage, real estate, and contractor sectors, Halo Programs helps businesses streamline their marketing efforts, generate high-quality leads, and foster long-term client relationships.[1]

Through their flagship products, MortgageHalo, RealEstateHalo, and ContractorHalo, the company has established a reputation for excellence, leveraging cutting-edge technology and personalized communication to drive business growth and success. With a commitment to continuous innovation and exceptional customer service, Halo Programs empowers businesses with comprehensive automated solutions for their marketing and CRM needs.[2]

History

Halo Programs was established in 1973 to address the communication challenges faced by a Real Estate office. Initially operating manually, it gained momentum when sales associates from the original company joined another agency and wanted to continue using the program. The company invented the Client Follow Up Program for the real estate industry. The company was formed as Continuity Programs, Inc. Halo Programs is a dba to align branding with the software solutions.[3]

Early growth

Throughout the 1970s, Halo Programs expanded within Michigan, collaborating with companies like Lee Real Estate and Key Real Estate. They introduced DataLead, a groundbreaking customer retention program for the Real Estate industry.

By the mid-1980s, Halo Programs had gained international recognition as a leading provider of Client Follow Up retention programs and client management solutions in Real Estate. They expanded services to other sectors, incorporating direct mail and print media. In 1987, Halo Programs expanded into Canada, enabling international operations. A larger office was built in 1989 to accommodate the growing team.

During the 1990s, Halo Programs diversified into industries beyond real estate, including mortgage, finance, and moving companies. Spanish versions of their programs were also developed during this time.

The 2000s

During the early 2000s, Halo Programs underwent significant transformations to adapt to industry changes. They rebranded their programs for the mortgage and real estate sectors, introduced customer retention initiatives like newsletters and self-mailers, and enhanced reporting and mailing options by incorporating email and personalized cards.

Expanding beyond the real estate and automotive industries, Halo Programs entered the banking, credit union, and home improvement sectors in 2003. They also migrated to a new database structure, developed programs for IT service companies and maintained their commitment to innovation.[4]

Throughout subsequent years, Halo Programs introduced advanced features such as license numbers in mailings, lead-generating programs, and an online marketing dashboard for clients. They embraced automation by enabling automatic program renewals and integrating variable printing for personalized media.

In 2010, the company was acquired by the entrepreneur Kirk King. They incorporated email components into their programs, and refreshed program elements for a modern look. Achievements during this period included redesigned greeting card themes, turnkey email marketing programs, the launch of QR codes, and new websites.

King first unveiled his CRM tool for the mortgage industry in 2016, and in 2018, he expanded its use to the real estate sector. Subsequently, the company extended its services to heating and cooling equipment distributors in 2019 and to heating and cooling dealers and installers in 2020.

Halo Programs continued expanding their reach and capabilities, developing specialized programs, introducing call center capabilities, and integrating with social media and reputation management systems. They remained resilient during the pandemic, developing the trio of Halo services and accomplishing notable projects.[5]

In 2022, Continuity Programs filed a DBA and officially rebranded as Halo Programs, symbolizing their commitment to a fresh identity and aligning with their future vision.
