Hannah Pearl Davis (born 4 November 1996) is an American social media personality, known for her YouTube channel @JustPearlyThings. She gained widespread attention in 2023 for her misogynistic commentary, including being banned from TikTok.[1]

Early life and education

Davis was born in London to parents Dan and Jennifer Davis.[2] Davis was raised Catholic, and she has nine siblings, three of whom were adopted and one of which was given up for adoption. She was raised in Chicago, Illinois.

Davis studied at Marian Central Catholic High School and studied economics at Elmhurst University.[3] She played volleyball for the Elmhurst Bluejays during her time at college.[4]

Career

Davis rose to prominence on TikTok and YouTube, amassing 1.72 million subscribers on YouTube.[5] She was known for conducting street interviews and for interviewing guests who are prominent in the manosphere online space.[6]

She hosts "The Pre-Game Show" podcast on YouTube.[7] Davis is being sued by a former guest for exploitation and humiliation of a vulnerable person.[8] Sa Ra Garvey, a former co-host on the podcast, claimed that she underpaid black creators on her podcast, "The Pregame".[9] Davis has said she is considering suing her former colleague for defamation.

Davis also amassed over 900,000 followers on TikTok, util she was banned in 2022.[10][11]

Views

Davis holds conservative, misogynistic, and fatphobic views, describing herself as "anti-feminist".[12] She has credited right-wing political commentators Ben Shapiro and Thomas Sowell as inspirations for wanting to enter the media and has been described as the "female Andrew Tate".[13][14] She has stated that she does not believe that women should have the vote, and that divorce should be illegal.

Davis also published a now-deleted video in July 2023 alluding to anti-semitic conspiracy theories, which was widely criticised.[15][16] She has previously stated that stories about slavery were embellished.[17]
