Kathleen Fuentes (born January 27, 1992), known online as KathleenLights, is an American beauty YouTuber known for her beauty tutorials, product reviews, and collaborations with prominent beauty brands.[2] She began her career as a YouTuber in 2013 and has since amassed over 4.11 million subscribers.[3][4]
KathleenLights is the founder of two e-commerce companies, Lights Label and Lights Lacquer, offering clothing and nail polish, respectively.[5][6]
Early life
KathleenLights was born on January 27, 1992, in Florida, United States, to Cuban immigrant parents.[7] She grew up alongside her three siblings: two brothers, Danny and Johnny, and an older sister, Ylette Luis.[8]

YouTube
KathleenLights launched her YouTube channel in 2013, posting makeup tutorials. She gained online popularity with her YouTube video "Get Ready With Me! Date Night Makeup ft. Naked Basics Palette," which has gained 1 billion views.[9] Her channel features cosmetic tutorials, personal updates, Q&As, unboxings, and makeup reviews, attracting over 4.11 million subscribers. She is known for her honest approach to discussing beauty products and sharing personal stories with her audience.[10]
Collaborations
Throughout her career, KathleenLights has collaborated with renowned beauty brands, releasing various makeup products such as lipsticks, liquid lipsticks, and nail polishes.[11] Notably, in 2014, KathleenLights collaborated with ColourPop, releasing lipsticks like Lumiere, Lumiere 2, Ultra Satin liquid lipsticks, gel liners, and "The Dream Collection," featuring ethereal, soft, and romantic makeup in beautiful hues.[12] In 2015, she partnered with Ofra Cosmetics, introducing products like Miami Fever and Havana Nights lipsticks. She has also collaborated with Morphe Brushes on a limited-edition eyeshadow palette.[13]
