Lauren Weber (born July 7, 1989), better known by her online alias LaurenZside, is an American YouTuber and internet personality based in New York City.[2] She is known for creating comedic gaming and personality-driven content on YouTube. As of April 2024, she had over 8.76 million subscribers on YouTube.[3]
Early life and education
LaurenZside, originally named Lauren Weber, was born in New York City on July 7, 1989. After her birth, LaurenZside’s family relocated to upstate New York. She was raised in a Catholic household. She attended a Catholic school and developed interests in makeup, snowboarding, and video games during her high school years.[4]
At 14, while she was in high school, LaurenZside's father was diagnosed with lung cancer and passed away on October 14, 2004. After graduating from high school in 2007, LaurenZside moved to New York City. She graduated in 2012 with a degree in video and film production.
Career
LaurenZside began her YouTube journey in February 2007 with the channel "LaurenZside" focusing on vlogging and skit content. However, she took a hiatus when she left for college in December 2008. She revived her YouTube account as a comedic gaming channel on January 30, 2013.[5]
LaurenZside's content is characterized by her unique blend of comedic gameplay, improv, and personality-driven commentary. Her videos cover various games, including The Sims, Minecraft, Roblox, and indie horror games. Notable series include the "24 Hour Living as My Sim Challenge" and "Trollcraft Minecraft Modded Multiplayer Survival Series."[6]

Personal life
LaurenZside resides in New York City with her husband, Bobby, and their daughter, Melody. They got married in a private ceremony in New York City in 2016 and welcomed their first daughter, Melody, in May 2021. Lauren announced her second pregnancy in December 2023, with the baby due in June 2024. She also has a pet dog, Dexter, who appears on her YouTube channel.[11]
