Luca Rubino (Palermo, August 25, 1992) is a young entrepreneur and Italian consultant.

He is known mainly for having been in charge of the digital and technological development of Automobili Pininfarina[1], and for being re-entered in the list of the best young Forbes Under 30[2] Italians in 2019.

Biography

The beginnings

After graduation he moved to Milan and from there, with a student-athlete scholarship, he flew to Scotland to study Business Marketing and Foreign Languages. In the UK, in addition to the university career accompanied by that of American football player, launches its first start-up: Sweet sicily, a company focused on exporting Italian products abroad, who in a short time manages to negotiate with supermarkets such as Tesco, Aldi and Asda.

After an internship in the marketing team of PTPI Ltd, he obtains three scholarships at HULT International Business School[3] in San Francisco, which give him a place for a Master of Science in California, he is then recruited in the Bay Area for Quintessentially and Zentist.

At the same time, after an exit from the first startup, he founded Jewelery Royale, a company of which he will sell the company shares two years later.

Successes with Pininfarina and career as a consultant

After his first experiences on American soil, he was hired as an Entrepreneur in Residence - VP of Digital by Automobili Pininfarina (a sub-company of the parent company Pininfarina, managed by the Indian holding company Mahindra), to collaborate in the launch of the first electric hypercar: the Battista. Thanks to excellent results obtained in a few months, the company will appoint it Global Head of Digital, giving it a key role in the strategic growth of the brand digitally. In March 2019, he was then included in the list of the best Italian Forbes Under 30[4], before founding Picta Design, an e-commerce which in a few months will prove to be one of the most visited online retailers of canvas and paintings in Europe .

Later, he left his role in the Italian-German company to fill that of Strategic Advisor, taking care of digital marketing consultancy and founding his fourth company: So-Tech Consulting, this time based in Dubai.
