Dillon Shamoun, known professionally as Not Dillon, is an American musician, record producer, and DJ.[1]
Early life
Dillon Shamoun was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1996.[2] Shamoun majored in kinesiology at Michigan State University before working for various companies such as Apple Inc.. As a teenager, Shamoun met up with a group of his friends who were DJing at music festivals, and performed with them onstage for three festivals. This experience inspired him to embark on a career in music, and he began producing and remixing music under the name Not Dillon. Shamoun learned production under Troyboi.[3]
Career
Not Dillon is best known for producing the 2018 single "Back To The Start (feat. Laura Page)".[4] In 2019, Not Dillon released the official remix for Frank Walker and Justin Jesso's single "Stitch Em Up", as well as TELYKast's single "Better".[5] He has also produced several remixes of songs for artists such as The Chainsmokers and Livvia.
Not Dillon has been sponsored by brands like Four Loko.[6]
