Victoria Nicole (born April 28, 1995) is a Mexican-American literary fiction novelist and Internet celebrity. She is best known for her romantic poetry under the pen name From Victoria on social media and print. Her first two books, Yours Truly and Her Muse are companion books to one another, and is subsequent to her podcast called Everybody's Muse: The Digital Diary.[1]

Early life and education

Nicole was born in an affluent area of Orange County, to an entrepreneur and businesswomen. She was originally named Victoria after her ancestors and Queen Victoria. She has a sister who graduated from Brown University.

Nicole attended Newport Harbor High, Futures Academy - California, and University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona before moving back to Newport Beach where she started her writing career.[2]

In 2017, Nicole graduated from University of Arizona with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. She had originally planned to study Nursing, but changed directions after taking psychology and literature courses. She completed her first novel (unpublished) in her sophomore year. She self-published her debut novel, Yours Truly, before graduating.[3]

In 2020, she appeared in a campaign forMac Cosmetics Selena Quintanilla Collection.

In 2021, she announced her first podcast, Everybody's Muse, a podcast original series about the cultured class.[4]

Career

Literary work

Nicoles' work is influenced by twentieth-century Latin American literature and she has been called an empowering poet who integrates the dreamlike essence of romance in her fiction to capture the Mexican-American experience.[5]

Personal life

Nicole grew up in Newport Beach, California and has lived in Colorado, Arizona, Los Angeles, and New York (state). She first started writing fiction and poetry at the age of 15.[6]
