Abdoul Abdouraguimov (Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.; born August 1, 1995) is a French professional mixed martial artist and Brazilian jiu-jitsu blackbelt of Russian (Dagestani) origin. He currently competes in the Welterweight division of the ARES Fighting Championship, where he is the current Welterweight and Middleweight double champion. A professional competitor since 2016, Abdouraguimov is also the current Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion in France.[1]
In March 2023, Abdoul announced his transition to the Lightweight division.[2]
Background
Abdouraguimov was born on August 1, 1995 in Nizhny Dzhengutay, Dagestan. At the age of 14, his family moved to Nantes, France. In France he practiced wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and grappling before turning to MMA in 2016.
