Allianz Ayudhya is a Thailand-based insurance platform.[1][2]
History
The company was originally established in 1951. It later became a joint venture under the name Ayudhya Allianz C.P. PCL, following a partnership between Thai investors and Germany-based Allianz SE.[3][4] The brand was renamed Allianz Ayudhya in 2012.[5][6]
Thomas Wilson is the President and CEO of Allianz Ayudhya.[7]
In 2019, Allianz and Sri Ayudhya Capital Plc made a strategic partnership.[8]
In 2022, Allianz Ayudhya General Insurance Public Company Limited completed the acquisition of Aetna Thailand.[9][10]
In 2024, the company introduced the Allianz Commercial.[11][12]
In 2024, Allianz Ayudhya launched a Smart AI Claim system.[13][14]
The company has also partnered with healthcare providers such as Bangkok Dusit Medical Services (BDMS) to co-develop personalized health plans and integrated digital health services.[15]
