Bhatwala is a small village of 1847 hectares in Sardarshahar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhatwala depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bhatwala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Bhatwala's pin code is 331411[4], and village code is 00603400. The area of Bhatwala is segregated as 1517.66 hectares unirrigated, the 0.3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 328.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.
