Bond Sports is an American software company providing cloud-based management tools for sports and fitness facilities, offering digital solutions for scheduling, registration, payments, and membership management.[1][2]

History

Bond Sports was founded in 2020 by Matt Minoff, former Yale basketball captain, and entrepreneur Marc Rothschild. Both previously co-founded Selectable Media, a technology firm acquired by Meredith Corporation for $31 million in 2014.[3] Minoff also co-founded PeacePlayers Middle East, a US-Israeli nonprofit featured by ESPN.[4]

Bond announced a multi-year partnership with Black Bear Sports Group in 2023, enabling digital management for 36 ice rinks, youth clubs, and leagues.[5]

Industry Context

The sports facility management software market is valued at $2.5–2.8 billion, projected to reach $4–7 billion by 2033, with growth driven by cloud adoption and digital transformation.[6]

Bond Sports competes with established firms such as Upper Hand, EZFacility, LeagueApps, and Sports Connect.[7]

Products

Bond Sports offers a unified cloud platform for facility scheduling, program and league management, membership, and point-of-sale tools.[8] In May 2025, it launched Bond ID, an integrated digital pass for contactless facility check-ins.[9]

Adoption

Yale University adopted Bond Sports in 2020 for campus-wide recreation facility management.[10]

Black Bear Sports Group deployed the platform for ice rink and league management in 2023.[11]

Funding and Investors

Bond Sports is backed by venture capital firms including Resolve Growth Partners, Rally Ventures, Correlation Ventures, Pareto Holdings, Remarkable Ventures, Connexa Capital, Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator, and West Quad Ventures.[12][13] Funding rounds raised $2 million (2023) and $7.63 million (2024), as reported in SEC filings.[14]

Rally Ventures led Bond Sports' Series A round in 2023, co-investing with Correlation Ventures.[15]
