Brüggli Admedia AG is a Swiss media and communications company based in Romanshorn, in the canton of Thurgau. It was founded in May 2024 through the merger of the agencies Advery and Brüggli Medien.[1] The company offers a range of services including digital communication, print and mailing solutions, co-packing, and visual design.
Brüggli Admedia emerged from the social enterprise network operated by the Brüggli Foundation, which is widely recognized in Switzerland for its commitment to vocational training and social integration of individuals with disabilities.[2]
History
The company was formed on 1 May 2024 when Advery and Brüggli Medien merged under the new name Brüggli Admedia AG. The aim was to combine creative services and social responsibility into one integrated brand.[3] Prior to the merger, Brüggli Medien was already one of the largest graphic design and integration enterprises in Switzerland, employing around 120 people and providing over 35 training positions.[4]
In early 2025, it was reported that Brüggli Medien was formally spun off from the Brüggli Foundation via a management buyout. The operational business became Brüggli Admedia AG, while the pedagogical support functions remained with the foundation.[5]
Services
Brüggli Admedia offers a wide range of services, including:
- Web design and development
- Search engine optimization (SEO)
- Content marketing and storytelling
- Print production and mailing logistics
- Co-packing and fulfillment
- Brand platform management (e.g. Frontify)
The company also works in close cooperation with partner businesses such as Ostschweiz Druck AG, especially in the area of offset printing and training capacities.[6]
Social Mission
As part of its legacy within the Brüggli Foundation, Brüggli Admedia maintains a strong focus on inclusive employment. The company provides apprenticeships, internships, and supported jobs for individuals with mental or physical disabilities, promoting long-term professional integration.[7]
The foundation employs around 750 people, of which approximately 600 are individuals with impairments working in a structured and inclusive environment.[8] Brüggli Admedia continues this mission by integrating supportive structures within its commercial activities.
Industry Position
Brüggli Admedia’s predecessor, Brüggli Medien, was previously one of the largest graphic and mailing solution providers with a social mission in Switzerland. Its partnerships and strategic mergers—such as with Sonderegger Publish AG in 2019—allowed it to secure client bases and strengthen its vocational training programs.[9]
