Bwanika Bbale Felix is a Ugandan five times award winning actor, film producer, director, Television personality and location Fixer.

Bwanika Felix is popularly known for his exceptional character in films like Faithful, The only Son, City of Dust, Television series like NTV Uganda's Trick Stars, and Katemba mu Kooti, The Campus among others. He acted in Twisted Minds[1] a 2023 series Game of Lies that was nominated as the best Television Drama by the Film Festival Award for Best Television Drama National Film Festival Awards.

In 2024, he was nominated and won an ikon on the 3rdikonawardceremomy award for his remarkable character as supporting actor in a Sharon Ishiimwe Ugandandan Christmas thriller film ssekukkulu[2].

Early Life and Background

Bwanika was born of the Late Luswata Seremba John Bosco and Nasaka Rita Jessica Wamala at Nsambya Hospital in Kampala. He was raised by his grand mother in Kibuli.

Education

Bwanika Baale went to Tank Hill view nursery and primary school for kindergarten, Namiryango Junior boy's schoolfor his primaryeducation,BulobaHigh School and Muyenga High School for his secondary Education. He joined Lugogo Vocational Institute[3] for plumbing and pipefitting and later enrolled at Makerere University where he acquired a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Film and graduated with a second class upper.

Career

Bwanika kick started his acting career in 2001 while at Buloba High School when he acted in school plays and at Muyenga High School in 2009. He later joined Uganda National Theater[5] in 2009. In 2010, Bwanika joined Fun factory as a comedian, stage manager and location manager. The company held (still holds)comedy nights every Thursday night at the National Theater.[6] The plays were directed by Luswata Philip Kafuluma and Lugaaya Julius. In the same year, his stellar performance intrigued Ntv Uganda and they casted him in their 2010 sitcom the Trick stars[7] which aired for two years, and their 2012 drama series Katemba Mu Kkooti.

He was a location Fixer for; Kimote, the 2025 thriller You May Kiss the Bride Goodbye, the 2023 Dstv Uganda series Beloved Series[8] among others.
