Daiki Kirizume (born January 5, 1999) is a Japanese kickboxer and physician known for his dual career in medicine and professional combat sports. He is the Japan Kickboxing Innovation super lightweight champion and the winner of the K-1 College 2021 65 kg tournament.[1][2]
Early life
Kirizume was born in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan. He began training in Kyokushin karate during childhood and later also practiced boxing.[3]
Kickboxing career
Kirizume won the K-1 College 2021 65 kg tournament while representing Kagawa University.[2]
On December 8, 2024, he won the Japan Kickboxing Innovation super lightweight title.[4]

In 2024, he received the Japan Kickboxing Innovation MVP award.[6]
Medical career
Kirizume graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Kagawa University and passed Japan’s national medical examination. He began working as a physician in Tokyo while continuing his kickboxing career.[7]
