Devitt Award

The Edward J. Devitt Distinguished Service to Justice Award is a prize given annually to a U.S. federal judge for distinguished and exceptional service.[1] The prize is named in honor of Edward J. Devitt,[2] a U.S. district judge, and has been presented by the Dwight D. Opperman Foundation since 1983.[1] The award is intended to serve as a Nobel Prize for the federal judiciary.[1]
