History
Texthelp Ltd was founded in 1996 in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, by Martin McKay. The company originated from McKay's interest in developing tools to support communication and accessibility, influenced by his father’s experience following a stroke[2].
Acquisitions
- In January 2022, Texthelp acquired Don Johnston Incorporated, a United States–based developer of educational software[3].
- Later in 2022, Texthelp acquired Oribi, a Swedish educational software company[4]
Products
