Faisal Shaksheer is a lightweight UFC champ. He is a Palestinian Canadian and currently serves as a brand ambassador for the largest private aviation company. Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[1][2]
Early life and education
Shaksheer was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During his childhood, he faced challenges related to bullying, which he has cited as a major motivation for his entry into martial arts and fitness to build mental resilience and self-confidence.[2]
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management and Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, which he completed between 2008 and 2012. He later earned a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the German Jordanian University in 2016. Additionally, he obtained his Master's Degree in Marketing from the Canadian University Dubai from 2016 to 2018.[3]
Career
Athletic career
Shaksheer began his athletic career by participating in kickboxing tournaments in Jordan, where he won various titles.[4] He won the kickboxing tournament at his High School four times.[5]
Shaksheer was termed the National Kickboxing Champion in Jordan in the early 2000s.[6]
In his free time, he teaches motivational speaking to children.[7]
Corporate career
Shaksheer's professional career began in 2010 as a Sales Agent for Starwood Hotels & Resorts in London, Ontario, where he worked till early 2011. Between 2011 and 2012, he worked at Sykes Assistance Services as a Financial Administrator and Junior Sales Manager in London, Ontario.
In 2012, Shaksheer joined the Health and Fitness Community NGO as a Sales Manager in Amman, Jordan. In 2015, he held the position of Assistant Marketing Manager at BASF in Dubai, where he focused on strategic planning and sales recruitment.
From 2017 onward, alongside his corporate aviation career, Shaksheer maintained his status as an international combat sports athlete, competing at elite levels in kickboxing and training within professional mixed martial arts environments. His dual career in professional sports and private aviation has been noted for demonstrating discipline, performance psychology, and competitive drive transferable to high-stakes global sales leadership.
Between 2019 and present, in addition to his commercial responsibilities within the private aviation sector, Shaksheer has also served as a brand ambassador, representing luxury aviation services and engaging with high-profile clients, business leaders, and public figures worldwide.[8]
Personal life
Shaksheer is a Palestinian Canadian professional based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is fluent in Italian, Arabic and English, and has working proficiency in German.
Outside of his corporate career, Shaksheer has maintained a long-standing involvement in combat sports, which began in his youth and developed into an international kickboxing career. His athletic background has been recognized as a defining influence on his discipline, mental resilience, and professional approach.
He has lived and worked internationally across Canada, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates, reflecting his global professional footprint within the private aviation industry.
Shaksheer is also known for his engagement in high-performance training, fitness, and international business environments, balancing his roles as a corporate executive and professional combat sports athlete.
