Ghanghoo is a small village of 2386 hectares in Churu Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ghanghoo depends on CHURU, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1.54% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Ghanghoo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Ghanghoo's pin code is 331001[4], and village code is 00632100. The area of Ghanghoo is segregated as 1.54 hectares irrigated area, 2182.31 hectares unirrigated, remaining 202.29 hectare area not available for cultivation.

According to a census 2011 report, 1974 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 1030 male, 944 female with 1089 (55.17%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 820 males and 269 females. 460 males and 225 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 85 male and 17 female agricultural labor. 885 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Churu to sell furniture and make their living.
