Maharawansar is a small village of 1878 hectares in Churu Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Maharawansar depends on SARDARSHAHAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Maharawansar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Maharawansar's pin code is 331001[4], and village code is 00621800. The area of Maharawansar is segregated as 1759.76 hectares unirrigated, remaining 118.15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
