Marlon Portales (born 1991) is a Cuban artist, currently based in Miami, Florida. Earned a visual arts degree from the Tiburcio Lorenzo Professional Academy of Plastic Arts in Pinar del Río, Cuba, in 2010 and pursued a BFA in visual arts from Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA).[1]
Portales uses a variety of media in his works, including photography, video art, installations, digital art, performance, and painting. His work has been featured in several shows and exhibitions in Cuba, Panama, Spain, Germany, and the United States. His paintings are oil on canvas and combine realism and abstraction.[2]
