Martin Bally is an American cybersecurity executive and board advisor with more than 25 years of experience in information security, enterprise technology, manufacturing security, and digital transformation.[1] He has held Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) positions at multinational organizations including The Campbell's Company, Stellantis, Diebold Nixdorf, American Axle & Manufacturing, and TRW Automotive.
Bally has focused on developing cybersecurity programs for complex and regulated organizations, with experience spanning enterprise security, operational technology (OT), industrial control systems (ICS), product security, cloud security, artificial intelligence governance, and cyber risk management.
Throughout his career, Bally has served in senior cybersecurity and technology leadership roles at global organizations including The Campbell's Company, Stellantis, Diebold Nixdorf, American Axle & Manufacturing, ZF/TRW Automotive, Chrysler, and DaimlerChrysler. As a CISO and technology executive, he has built and transformed cybersecurity programs across complex, highly regulated, and operationally critical environments.

Early life and education
Bally earned a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance from Norwich University, where he studied from 2007 to 2009. He also earned a bachelor's degree in Management and Organizational Development from Spring Arbor University.
Career
Bally began his career in information technology and cybersecurity within the automotive industry, working in manufacturing technology, data centers, enterprise applications, infrastructure, and network operations. At DaimlerChrysler and Chrysler, he held progressively senior responsibilities spanning technology operations, information security, risk management, disaster recovery, governance, and manufacturing environments.
From 2009 to 2013, Bally served as Director of Data Center and Cloud Security Services at The Dolan Company, overseeing security programs, cloud services, governance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure controls.
From 2013 to 2016, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at ZF Group (formerly ZF TRW), where he established global cybersecurity programs, strengthened security governance and operations, and expanded product security capabilities across automotive platforms.
From 2016 to 2019, Bally was Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at Diebold Nixdorf, leading cybersecurity, product security, privacy, fraud prevention, and compliance initiatives across financial services and retail technology environments.
From 2019 to 2020, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at American Axle & Manufacturing, leading cybersecurity strategy, infrastructure operations, compliance, and product security for a global automotive supplier.
From 2020 to 2022, Bally served as Global Chief Information Security Officer at Stellantis following the merger of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and PSA Group. He helped drive the integration and evolution of cybersecurity capabilities across a global automotive enterprise, including enterprise, manufacturing, and vehicle cybersecurity.
From 2022 to 2025, Bally served as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer at The Campbell's Company, where he led enterprise cybersecurity strategy across corporate technology, manufacturing operations, digital transformation, artificial intelligence governance, and cyber risk management.
