Neembasar is a small village of 2256 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Neembasar depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Neembasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Neembasar's pin code is 344701[4], and village code is 02093600. The area of Neembasar is segregated as 1491.36 hectares unirrigated, the 665.7 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 99.02 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
