Omar Mohamed Mohallim is a Somali Politician who became Somalia's first U.S. ambassador in 1960. Dr. Omar Mohallim Mohamed was one of the educated intellectuals who became a victim of the dictatorial regime of Siyad Barre known to the Somali nation as Kacaan.[1]
