José ''Pep'' Muñoz Zoyo (born 2 August 1979) is a Spanish professional football manager who is currently the head coach of Cambodian Premier League club Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng.
Managerial career
Lleida
In June 2004, Pep started his career with Lleida as the club assistant and fitness coach which also during his time with the club, he was appointed as the head of methodology for the youth team.
In July 2008, Pep was appointed by the club to be the head coach of the under-19 squad.
Barcelona
In July 2011, Pep was recruited by Barcelona Juvenil to be their under-19 assistant coach where he work under head coach Jordi Vinyals. Pep alongside head coach Jordi Vinyals was then promoted to be in charge of Barcelona B squad in the 2014–15 Segunda División. During Pep time at Barcelona, he has seen the under-19 squad winning back-to-back 2013 and 2014 División de Honor title and also the inaugural 2013–14 UEFA Youth League.
Qingdao Huanghai
On 20 December 2015, Pep then move to China to join Chinese Super League club Qingdao Huanghai rejoining Jordi Vinyals as his assistant coach.
Shandong Luneng
After seven years working with Jordi Vinyals, Pep went on to sign with Shandong Luneng working as an assistant under head coach Li Xiaopeng On 18 January 2019,
China
In January 2022, the Chinese Football Association appointed Pep as the China national team assistant coach rejoining alongside Li Xiaopeng. After Li left, Pep stayed to work under new head coach Aleksandar Janković. However, Pep left his role in February 2023.
Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng
On 6 May 2023, Pep moved to Cambodian Premier League side Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng taking on his first role as a head coach. In his first season in the club, he guided the team to a domestic double winning the 2023–24 league title and the 2023–24 Hun Sen Cup. In his second season, Pep guided the club to the 2025 AFC Challenge League final.
