Leticia Kyerewaa Dampare, also known as QueenLet is a Ghanaian-German soakat gospel musician and a nurse.

QueenLet started her gospel music in Ghana.[1] [2] [3]
She then moved to Hamburg, Germany, where she balances her professional life in healthcare with her music.[4]

Early Life And Education

QueenLet was born in Teshie, a suburb of Accra, Ghana. She began her education at Trinity Junior School and later attended St. John's Grammar School, graduating in 2000. She pursued further studies at Accra Technical University before migrating to Germany. In Hamburg, she was trained as a registered nurse at the Deutsche Angestellten Akademie.[5]

Music Career

QueenLet started her Soakat music in 2020 with the release of her debut single "Dear Holy Spirit".[6]

Her next releases include "Anwanwadwuma" in September 2020,[7] and "WindBlow" featuring Nigerian gospel singer Jimmy D Psalmist in 2021.[8]

Sing-A-Thon And Guinness World Records

In July 2024, QueenLet attempted a 125-hour Guinness World Records - singing marathon in Hamburg, Germany, in an effort to break the world record set in 2012 by Indian singer Sunil Waghmare (105 hours).[9] The event was supported by many Ghanaians, Africans and Germans.[9]

Ghanaian personality Afia Schwarzenegger made a call during the performance to encourage QueenLet.[10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15]

Interaction With Shatta Wale

In April 2025, QueenLet posted a TikTok video interpreting a dance challenge set to Shatta Wale's song. Shatta Wale responded with the comment "THANK YOU OSOFO MAAME", which started discussion.[16] [17]

QueenLet And Esther Smith Controversy

The business collaboration between Esther Smith and OFM Computer World Europe has evolved into one of Ghana’s biggest gospel controversies.[18]

Alleged unpaid 40% revenue shares, accusations of disrespect, and a spiritual declaration later described as a “curse” have kept this dispute alive. With QueenLet now publicly clarifying her involvement through TikTok, the feud has taken a new and dramatic turn.[19]
