Ramon Bravo Gonzalez, PhD, FRSA (born September 1978), is a British-Swedish-Mexican consultant, lecturer, and author specializing in public policy, sustainability, and economic analysis.[1] He is a senior manager at Deloitte's EMEA Sustainability Regulation Hub and an adjunct lecturer at the University of Glasgow.[2][3]
Dr. Bravo specializes in advocacy, project management, economic analysis, public policy, and sustainability. His research interests include corporate social responsibility (CSR), luxury, and brand value. He has published several academic papers and is recognized for his contributions to understanding how CSR impacts brand value in luxury industries.
Education
Dr. Bravo holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from the Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where he participated in The Washington Center's NAFTA Leaders Program. He was a Public Affairs intern specializing in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and events at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
In 2002, Dr. Bravo moved to Sweden to pursue a Master of Science in Environmental Management and Policy from the International Institute of Industrial Environmental Economics (IIIEE) at Lund University. He also holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Glasgow. His doctoral thesis explored the intersection of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and brand value within the luxury sector.
Career
Dr. Bravo is a senior consultant with over 18 years of experience in project management, economic research and policy analysis, and sustainability. He is skilled in managing projects in all phases, including proposal development, planning, team management, research and analysis, drafting, and client presentations.[4] [5]
Dr. Bravo commenced his career in 2006 at Policy Navigation Group, where he started as a project manager, later advancing to senior consultant and director of research.
In 2013-2014, Dr. Bravo served as a visiting scholar at Columbia Business School in New York, engaging in advanced research and academic collaboration.
In 2019, Dr. Bravo joined Projekt Innovation Ltd. as a senior consultant.
Since 2020, Dr. Bravo has also been a guest lecturer in lobbying and policy analysis at the University of Glasgow and Liverpool Business School.
In 2022, Dr. Bravo joined Deloitte's EMEA Sustainability Regulation Hub as a senior manager. In this role, he leads initiatives focused on decarbonization, nature, and greenwashing, driving impactful sustainability strategies.[6]
In 2021, Dr. Bravo was inducted into the Marquis Who's Who registry. He is also an elected fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures, and Commerce (RSA) and holds memberships with the Freedom of the City of London and the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators, where he serves as a liveryman and court assistant.[7]
