Ratna (born 19 January 1985) is a Nepali journalist and the founder of the online news portal Hamropusta[1] Media . He has served as the Karnali Province in-charge[2] for the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FoNIJ).
Early life and education
Ratna Sunuwar was born on 19 January 1985 in Sindhuli District to Bhim Bahadur Sunuwar and Chadra Kumari Sunuwar. He completed his school education at Shree Saraswati Secondary School, Sankhatar, Sindhuli. He pursued higher secondary education (SEE 2008) and Surkhet Campus, Birendranagar.
Career
Sunuwar[3] began his work in local and regional journalism, focusing on community issues and rural reporting. In 2018 he founded the news website Hamropusta.com, aimed at providing accessible news and information for Nepali readers. He has also been active with the Federation of Nepali Journalists as the Karnali Province in-charge.
Personal life
Sunuwar remains connected to his home district of Sindhuli and continues to work on regional journalism and media development.
