Shan United Women's Football Club (Burmese: ရှမ်းယူနိုက်တက် အမျိုးသမီး ဘောလုံးအသင်း) is a Burmese professional women's football club based in Taunggyi, Shan State. The club competes in the Myanmar Women League (MWL) and is the women's professional wing of the multi-titled Shan United F.C...[1]
History
Formation and Debut (2024)
The 2024 Myanmar Women’s League is set to begin soon and a new team, Shan United Women’s FC, will also participate in the Myanmar Women League. Shan United Women’s was newly formed this year and is primarily composed of players from Shan State, the team’s representing Shan region.[2] The club represents Shan State in the top-tier Myanmar Women League. In its debut season, the team competed as one of seven founding members of the league's revamped professional format.[3] The club's roster features several prominent national team players, including goalkeeper May Zin Nwe and forward July Kyaw.
Competitive Era (2025–2026)
In the 2025–26 season, Shan United maintained a competitive mid-table presence.[4] Under the guidance of head coach Zin Mar Wann, a former national team standout, the club secured a 5th-place finish in the league standings, recording significant victories over regional rivals.[5] After end of the season, Head coach , Zin Mar Wann leave from Shan United W.F.C. [6] For 2026-27 season, Shan United women club signed Young Lionesses midfielder, May Thin Zar [7] and Myawady striker, Win Thuzar Aung [8]

Shan United signed three foreign players who are Theresah Darko [9], Abigail Sakyiwaa and Peace Olga [10].
