Shane Skinner is an American entrepreneur and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), known for co-founding Record360, a mobile asset documentation platform, and for co-founding the Seattle Seawolves, a professional rugby franchise in Major League Rugby (MLR).

Early life and education

Skinner earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from vania in 1995 and a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 2008.

Career

Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Skinner began his professional career at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where he worked for 16 years. His tenure included international experience in the United Kingdom, where he held several leadership positions.

Record360

In 2013, Skinner co-founded Record360, a digital platform that allows businesses to record and track the condition of rental and leased equipment using photos and videos. The company was acquired by private equity group Alpine SG in 2018. Skinner remained involved with Record360 as an advisor following the acquisition.

Seattle Seawolves

In 2017, Skinner co-founded the Seattle Seawolves, one of the founding teams in Major League Rugby. Under his leadership, the Seawolves won the first two MLR championships in 2018 and 2019. The team quickly gained a large fan following and contributed to the early growth of professional rugby in the United States.

Public policy involvement

Skinner has been active in public policy matters in Washington State. In 2011, he was involved in a campaign opposing the extension of temporary stadium-related taxes. His advocacy focused on fiscal responsibility and the impact on small businesses.
