Viveen was the vocalist for UK EDM group N-Trance, appearing on the best selling seminal album "Electronic Pleasure" and the follow up "Happy Hour (N-Trance album)".[1] "Electronic Pleasure" reached the UK's Top 100 in the official charts.[2] [3]
Viveen was the main vocalist on N-Trance hit singles "Turn Up The Power"[4] which reached number 23 in the UK charts and "Paradise City" which reached number 28.[5] Viveen also performed on the hit singles "Stayin' Alive", "D.I.S.C.O" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy". [6]
"In September 1995, N-Trance showed absolute cheek in releasing a cover of the Bee-Gees' classic disco anthem, "Stayin Alive" (the track had also previously been just as cheekily covered by Happy Mondays). It featured vocals from Viveen Wray and rapping by Ricardo Da Force (ex-KLF). The success was phenomenal (and possibly predictable). "Stayin' Alive" reached UK No.2 and sold over 2.5 million copies World-wide, topping the charts in Australia, Canada, and South Africa!"[7] [8]
Viveen was the main songwriter and vocalist for Driza, appearing on the "Vision" album in 2000.[9][10][11]
Viveen composed the lyrics for Nubya's album release "Coming Home" on the track "Life is like a Weekend".[12]
Viveen has appeared as a guest artist on many artists releases including The LA Style project [13], Richard Dinsdale [14] and Loggi [15].
In 2024 Viveen released the EP “Four To The Floor”, featuring five tracks and the single "Should've Been You" which was given a Radio 2 debut by DJ Spoony on October 4th 2024.[16]
