Wang Xiangyu (Chinese: 王翔宇; born 1979) is a Chair Professor at Curtin University, Australia,[1] the Curtin Director of Australasian Research Centre for Building Information Modelling (BIM), [2] and the Executive Dean of the Institute for Smart Maintenance of Civil Infrastructure at East China Jiaotong University. [3]

Wang xiangyu earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Tongji University. He subsequently received his master's degree from the University of Washington and completed his doctoral studies at Purdue University.[1] In 2020, he was listed among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University.[4] Wang was named a Highly Cited Researcher by Clarivate in 2022.[5]
