Scott Keever (born January 15, 1981) is an American entrepreneur, author, and digital marketing strategist. He is the founder and chief executive officer of Reputation Pros, an online reputation management agency, and Keever SEO, a search engine optimization firm.[1] Keever is known for his work in search engine optimization (SEO), online reputation management, and digital authority building, as well as for authoring books on digital marketing and personal branding.[2][3][4]
Early life and education
Scott Keever was born on January 15, 1981, in Lebanon, Ohio, United States. He was raised in Lebanon, a city in Warren County northeast of Cincinnati. Keever attended Lebanon High School in Lebanon, Ohio, before enrolling at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, which provided the foundation for his later career in entrepreneurship and digital marketing.
Career
Keever began his professional career in 2009 after transitioning from corporate sales into the digital marketing industry. His early work focused on search engine optimization, lead generation, and performance-based marketing for small and medium-sized businesses.[5]
In 2011, Keever founded Keever SEO, a data-driven search engine optimization agency specializing in local SEO, national SEO, Google Ads management, and AI-assisted search strategies. Under his leadership, the company grew into one of the fastest-growing SEO agencies in the United States and received multiple industry recognitions.[6]
Keever later founded Reputation Pros, an online reputation management agency that serves executives, attorneys, physicians, public figures, and brands. The agency focuses on reputation repair, content suppression, and digital authority building. Reputation Pros has collectively helped hundreds of businesses improve search visibility and online reputation, maintaining a reported client retention rate of 97%.[7]
In addition to these ventures, Keever founded ASAP Digital Marketing, a full-service digital marketing agency, and Pool Pros Marketing, a niche agency focused on marketing solutions for the pool and spa industry.[8]
In November 2019, Keever was accepted into the Forbes Agency Council, an invitation-only organization for senior executives in marketing, public relations, and advertising. Through this role, he contributes thought leadership articles on topics including SEO, online reputation management, artificial intelligence in marketing, and personal branding. He is also a member of the Fast Company Executive Board and the Entrepreneur Leadership Network, contributing commentary on entrepreneurship and digital strategy.[9]
In 2022, Keever served as Associate Producer on the television series Crime Lords.
